I just loaded Java Web server 2.0 onto a pc running Windows 2000 professional.
When a change to directory c:\javawebserver2.0\bin and ent httpd i get
\jre\bin\jre.exe exited with code -1073741819.
How do i get around this error and get Jav Web server to load???

Hi onlytakecash-ga,

Try reducing the maximum heap size and check if you still get the error.

Also, please provide more information, like system configuration, and
JRE version. If you're not running the latest JRE, try installing the
latest JRE, and check if you encounter the same problem again

Hi, onlytakecash, thanks for your question.

Would it be possible to use a different Java application web server,
such as Tomcat or JRun? Java Web Server is no longer supported by Sun
or anyone else (replaced by Java System Web Server).

Do you also get this error when running Java Web Server from your
Services control panel? (Start, Run, services.msc)
