I'm trying to buy a particular digital food scale as a gift, but I'm
having trouble finding a source. The brand is Soehnle.
(www.soehnle.de), the model name is Vera, and the model number is
67013. Please note that the Vera model comes in several colors and
styles, but the model number 67013 represents a black and chrome
finish. Either a Web site or a retail location would be fine as a
solution. I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so a retailer would need
to be in this area. I need to have it by January 12, 2006, but I'm
not willing to risk backordering the item. It needs to be in-stock.

You can view a picture of the item at
http://www.soehnle.de/SoehnleImages/KW/Pict_2003/2003_300pix/67013_Milieu_3c.jpg

I have checked epinions.com, pricegrabber.com, amazon.com, lnt.com,
bedbathandbeyond.com, surlatable.com, and have done my best to wade
through the results on Google, but I'm a bit hindered because I can't
read German, and many of the results are in that language. I have
found some sites that offer the product, but they don't ship to the
US. It's OK with me if I have to order the item from a foreign site,
so long as Mastercard is accepted and US dollars are OK.

If you want to view the available Vera models at soehnle.de, go to the
site, then click the left image to go to the consumer site, then
choose, "Küchen-, Haushalts- und Briefwaagen" on the left, then click
"Digitale Waagen" on the left. Vera is near the bottom.

Be aware that kitchen-universe.com has a confusing listing on their
site. The picture does not match the product being sold. They are
selling a model 67033, which is a stainless steel version of the
product (not what I want).

Hi fungicord-ga, The model number of the 67013 scale is 8122.05.712.
Amazon in Germany has a model 8122.05.713 for sale that looks just
like the pictures of the 67013 I've seen. Is this an option for you?

The Amazon page for the 8122.05.712 model seems to state that they
don't yet have it available.

welte,

Thanks for your interest in my question. The 8122.05.713 style is
associated with this image:
http://www.soehnle.de/SoehnleImages/KW/Pict_2003/2003_300pix/67012_Milieu_3c.jpg

It has a matte silver finish instead of chrome, so it's not what I'm
looking for. I'd be interested in any additional findings on the
8122.05.712, since I haven't run a search on that model number at all.
Maybe a smaller specialty online retailer would have it before
Amazon.

That's the same picture vendors use for the 67933. What is the
difference? The 67033 is available from multiple retailers.

The 67033 has a brushed stainless steel top. The 67013 has a mirrored
"chrome" top. The mechancial and electrical specifications are the
same. It's only an aesthetic difference.
