I am an international student. I am a final year graduate student and
currently doing my internship. I have my CPT (Curricular Practical
Training) valid till Dec 31 2005. I have been on internship since
March 17 2005 to Dec 31 2005 and will graduate on Dec 31 2005.

I applied for my OPT (Optional practical training) and have not yet
been approved. Its been 25 days
since I applied. I have a full time job from my internship company and
I want to take it.

I am sure my OPT will be approved, but dont know when? My OPT start
date is Jan 1 2006. Can I work with my internship firm till I get my
OPT approved. If not, is there any suggestion or option you can guide
me please.

I am planning to take personal days off till the time I get my OPT
approved. Is there any other option you can suggest me. My university
told me the best way would be to wait till the OPT card is approved.

Before answering, please contact me if you need any clarification.
