Hello...

I have not been able to locate this from the distributor
(Fox)...However, it is still played on TV...

It will be playing on the Fox Movie Channel at the following times.

Upcoming Showings
December 29 at 2:31 pm
January 04 at 2:00 pm
January 15 at 12:00 pm
February 15 at 12:00 pm

All Times Eastern
Schedule is subject to change.

I hope this helps. Please leave feedback if this helps or if you
still need someone to help find on VHS/DVD (though I have found no
record of it being released as such)

Thanks.

On ebay! Where else?

There's a VHS (NTSC) copy now on offer & there's only been 1 bid so
far @ $6.99. But HURRY the auction closes in just over 20 hours from
now.

Good Luck & A Merry Festive!

Wow...thanks so much to Probonopublico and Canadianhelper. Not only
did I place a bid on e-bay (where I had been checking), I marked down
the times it is playing on Fox. It was the first movie I saw as a kid
and it was one of the few happy times I had. Thanks again for
delighting an old broad in Phoenix.

Hi Susan

Delighted to help!

Of course, I am sure that you know that some serious ebay bidders wait
until the last couple of minutes before launching their bid. That's
what I do! I love old musicals & I won one earlier by striking within
the last minute. (I almost forgot.) So don't let it get away from you
and let us know how you went on.

All the Best

Dear young blade, what is a reasonable price for this film? It is now
up to $10.25 with 10 hours to go. I thought I would do the same as
you and wait until the last minute frenzy.

Hi Again Susan

It's worth whatever someone is prepared to pay. As you know, it's very
rare and there are obviously other bidders out there who also want it.

The one I picked up earlier (different title) set me back £11.51
(about $18 US) but I had stated my max price as £15.01. If I want
something I really go for it. I don't always win but I get what I go
for more times than not.

How badly you want it is entirely up to you and it looks as though you
could have the option of viewing (and recording) it on the Fox Movie
Channel anyway - if you don't mind the ads. (I assume there are ads?)

All the Best

Or...get someone to Tivo or Replay it for you then transfer it to DVD
or VHS without the ads. Myself I 'tape' everything on my computer
with a TV capture card (WinTV Go Plus $40) and then burn what I want
to keep...I take all the commercials out before my kids watch shows
(lets them watch 'more' in their alloted TV time!!!).

Oh, dear Canadian and UK friends, this will be a battle on ebay.
Unfortunately, the tv schedule given for Fox does not apply in
Phoenix, AZ so I shall bid my wrinkled buttocks off at 7:30 PM this
evening. Wish me luck.

I won!!! Set me back $57 buck American, but it was more fun. And I
stand corrected, Canadian Helper. My listings were not current for
Fox so I may be able to watch it on TV as well.

Thank you both so much for your help.

Congratulations, Susan, it's evident that you had lots of fun in
participating in the auction but it's also very satisfying to win.
Many thanks for sharing your success. I have always liked Mitzi
Gaynor. She's always a joy to watch. All the Best, The Young Blade.
