My Sony notebook's PC motherboard got fried. It was running Windows
XP. The WIndows XP had a password login. The Hard disk is in good
condition. So I got an adapter to connect the hard disk to the USB
port of another computer. I'm able to see the data folders, but I'm
getting an "Access Denied" when I go to read the data. I think it is
due to the Windows XP login password (which I still remember).

How do I change the access permissions, so that I can read my data ?
