I'm looking for a life-size shrew. Toy or stuffed. Just something
that looks really cute and looks like a shrew (not a mouse, shrew).
It can be a pet toy. Just needs to be a shrew. It can be a toy. It
can be stuffed or what not. Whatever you can find. Life-size.
Shrew.

Xemion:
Are you looking for a stuffed version of a North American shrew, or
would a toy European shrew [

Hello Xemion:

A web page called the Shrew Gift Shop and Flea Market displays a plush
toy shrew, but does not actually sell the item.
http://members.vienna.at/shrew/giftshop.html

A German web site does sell the same toy shrew (or "spitzmaus" in
German).
http://guenstig.com/kaufhaus/artikel_detail.asp?ArtNr=00134

For online ordering, this shrew is listed at 15.70 euros and is the
last item on the page:
http://guenstig.com/kaufhaus/artikel.asp?Sparte=Pl%FCschtier3

The manufacturer, Kosen studio-haus, offers the same shrew on its web
site for $25.
http://www.kosen.com/shrewmouse.html

Note that while Kosen calls this creature a "shrew mouse," the term is
synonymous with shrew. See this entry from hyperdictionary.com:
http://www.hyperdictionary.com/dictionary/shrewmouse

search strategy: plush shrew, spitzmaus, spielzeug, kosen spitzmaus,
kosen shrew

I hope this helps.

Would have prefered something cheaper and based in the states, but not
your fault, juggler. Great answer. Good research. Thank you!
