I left Indonesia in 1996, after working there for about ten years.
During my stay there, I collected about 300 Dangdut  (type of
Indonesian popular music  derived from Indian music) and 200 Qasida
(type of Indonesian religious music derived from MiddleEastern music)
cassettes. I would like to know what has been happening with the music
since I came home.  Unfortunately, I have never received a reply about
this subject from any of the likely sites on the Internet. Sometimes
the link turns out to be "dead," and sometimes they just don't answer.
When I lived there, they had something like Emmy's or Oscars for
Dangdut songs and performers.  Collections of these award winning
performances would, of course, soon follow on cassette. My need, then,
is a place I can go to purchase such award winning Dangdut cassettes. 
Can you help, or can you refer me to someone who can? Finally, I don't
like determining your fee AFTER seeing your answer, as I don't think
it's fair to you. Therefore, since I recognize that this could be a
difficult research matter, I will pay $25 if I receive a satisfactory
reply.
Satisfactory" means the URL of a place where I can buy Dangdut
cassettes of the award winning songs or the URL of someone who can
obtain those cassettes for me.

difficult than I had expected. Anyway, although it's nice to have the
URL of a place where I can buy dangdut cassettes, your answer is not
really what I was looking for. I want to buy the best songs of the
last ten years, but I don't know what they are. Sure, popularity
doesn't guarantee quality, but it's the only thing I have to go by.
