What density is the oil that is expected to be produced from the
National Wildlife area? Is it the same as the North slope?

To clarify my question: When the pipeline was approved we had a
similar oil shortage and inflated gas prices and the oil industry said
that they needed that oil to alleviate the shortage on the west
coast(US). Well it turned out that the density of that oil, which was
known by the oil companies was way to low for west coast refineries to
refine and was intended to go to Japan which would trade for oil at
East Coast refineries. I believe, if memory serves, that the density
was in the 17 to 19 degree range, just above Kern County oil. I notice
on the map that the specs on the successful drilling all around the
1002 Area are treated as confidential by the oil companies. Three
guesses why. That oil will be sold in the world market to countries
like Japan who can refine that oil with existing capacity. So I want
the density, not the quantity.
