I just got the worst news from Kraft Foods.  After months of
searching, I have been informed that my favorite cookie since I was a
kid (I'm not 41) has been discontinued.  It was on the shelves last
year, but not this year.  I was told that all remaining product is
shipped from the Kraft warehouse to stores.  However, Kraft won't tell
me even which state the remaining product was shipped to, let alone
the name of the store.  What's the chance of finding this information
out?  I would travel and buy out the supply of whichever store has
these cookies so the tradition of having them can live on in my family
for one more year :(

Yup, I've tried 'em all, and nothing compares to Stella D'Oro.  They're the best. :(

Thanks for the tip on the sale.  I actually just found out about that
yesterday, but the article you provided the link for gave me more
information than I had.  I will definitely write to the new owner of
SD and see how seriously (or not) they take customer requests :)
