Is learning the Culinary trade difficult? I am a 34 year old
hairdresser and want a career change. I do enjoy cooking but I want to
make sure I have the aptitude for learning professional cooking before
paying $24,000 for a culinary diploma. The school in Manhattan I want
to enroll in seems to have a good externship and work study program,
the only work study program in NYC as a matter of fact. My career goal
is to work as an executive chef in NYC.
