I'm looking for software (or hardware/software combination) that would
allow me to connect a notebook PC to a server and use the keyboard,
mouse, and display on the notebook as if they were dedicated hardware
connected to the server.
In other words, right now if I need console access to a server I have
to lug around a "crash cart" with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse and
plg each one into the server. I'm looking to streamline.
Of course, I could add another NIC to the server and use something
like RDP, but some of my servers cannot add another NIC. I need
something I can use over DB9 serial or USB, etc.
Thanks!
