I am trying to find the elusive location for Kramer Guitars. Now owned by Gibson Guitar Company. I called them (Gibson) and they stated the guitars are assembled in the U.S. By the time we were through talking, it was understood the guitars were manufactured in Korea, but I was not able to find the company building them. The particular guitars construction I am looking for is the hollow body electric which Kramer call the Nightrider Series models FR-202 and S-202 and sold through their Music Yo website http://www.musicyo.com/brandland.asp?dept_id=1 under the US Collection. I am also curious about their 1984 Reissue and the Custom Electric but not near as much as the Nightrider series. I was told rumor, Samick was making them. I plan to travel to Korea and hope to get a tour of one of their plants. Thanks, -mark |
