Sites like Bullz-eye.com are content websites that provide free
content to visitors (reviews, news, articles etc). Take at look at
their demographic and advertising concern -
www.bullz-eye.com/ads/advertise/default.htm.
They generate revenue through serving ads, selling products or
services (their own or through affiliates), and selling premium
subscriptions (to model pictures, www.bemembers.com).
Essentially, their operating model is to get lots of traffic and then
effectively "profitize" that traffic.
I need the following:
1) Examples of how much a website can charge for ad rates. Variables
like the kind of audience, audience size play into this. Standards and
market rules used in the industry etc.
2) List of about 8-10 online marketing agencies on the East Coast
(high to medium end firms, not any fly-by-the-night SEO type firms)
that can help a website develop, implement, and maintain it's traffic
profitization strategy.
3) Examples of 1 or 2 traffic profitization plans. You'll have to
search the web extensively. These plans might be part of whole
business plans. If you find a business plan for such a site, that'd be
great.
4) Any other information you can find (current trends, statistics)
relating to traffic profitization for content based websites.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. |
