I want to know how to merge msn messenger archive files together. I
have two groups of xml msn messenger files (currently running ver.
7.5) that belong to the same msn ID, but were made at different times
(one is from backups from before I reformatted my HD and the other set
is more recent) and are now in different folders. If I try to copy one
version into the other folder, windows attempts to overwrite the
existing file. How do I merge them instead of overwriting one of them?

Hi alpacaherder,

Here's a possibility -

ExamXML (30-day free trial)
"ExamXML is the best visual tool for comparing and merging XML Documents"
http://www.a7soft.com/

Please let me know if that helps you.

HI hummer - thanks for replying but an xml editor isnt exactly what
i'm looking for. Has anyone out there had this situation and found a
way to resolve it? If you have , please let me know how you did it.
