I'm looking for an example of functional Visual Basic or C# source
code for a Yahoo chat "bot". This is a program which can simulate the
actions of a user, while interfacing and running alongside Yahoo
Messenger. I want to be able to make it so that it can intelligently
reply to certain keywords that certain friends send me. For example,
if a friend on my list says, "Hi!", I want to be able to autorespond
with some text.

Given that many bots could potentially be used to generate income, you
are not too likely to find good source code available for free. There
is a place called Bot Depot (http://www.bot-depot.com/) that has a
small community that develops bots in PHP and Perl. You might have
some luck there.

I've got a pretty flexible bot that I've written available here,
http://www.uber-geek.com/ but the source code is not freely available.
