I am inquiring about auto insurance settlements in CANADA ,maybe most
specifically in British Columbia, regarding tinnitus caused by auto

HI,
This a free comment and certainly no "answer" to your question and serious problem.
The sites I have found that relate tinnitus to automobile accidents
indicate that a head or neck injury is involved.  It seems that this
would have to be documented to be a result of the accident, and the
tinnitus shown to be a resulting long term symptom, something you
probably already know.

This doesn't tell you anything about insurance claims, but at least it
brings your question back near the top of the pile, where someone can
see it who may be able to give you more information.
