Here in california ive seen some people make thier atv's street legal
sooo . I need info on how to make my yamaha atv streel legal, what do
i have to change on the atv? my atv is four stroke i can get insurance
on it and i think i need to change the tires ad some lights, but i
need to know how to make dmv register my atv(i went to dmv website and
they say its not possible, well they ride around town so it is
possible) some people also say its not possible well ive seen them and
they sell some on ebay that are already registered.
please help thanks.

Maybe this is a local thing. I noticed that people were riding dirt
bikes and motorcycles, what I assumed to be illegally, on county
roads. I flagged down one of the county deputies and asked him what
the deal was. He said that they allowed it and would continue to
unless it became a problem (even though it is illegal). You might try
talking to one of your local cops and asking them your question.

Im in Arizona, but when I went to the DMV to change the title after I
bought my raptor they asked if I wanted to make it street legal.

Here you have to have Mirrors, Horn, Headlight, Brakelight, and
Taillight (And Insurance).  I think you have to change the tires for
it to be used on the freeway.
