Ok Pink...you're too good. So in my spiteful way I'm going to try and
pose a film 'related' question to see how good you are!

What connects: Jack's companion travelling to the emerald island; 1/12
of a dozen; a sharp shooting Russian agent, and two pieces of paper
signed in the year Mr Gorky finally got what he wished for!

(in advance) hee hee hee

Sorry Pink

That should say "Mr Gorsky"

Two things...

1: My goodness you jumped on this one quickly!
2: The sponsored links aren't fair...you've been given a head start
(supposing you needed it [which I doubt])...

The best I could do:

Jack's companion travelling to the emerald island = Jill Ireland?

1/12 of a dozen = One of "The Dirty Dozen"?

a sharp shooting Russian agent = could be a reference to a character in "Telefon."

two pieces of paper signed in the year Mr Gorsky finally got what he
wished for! The year is 1969, I presume, in reference to a famous
story about Neil Armstrong. The pieces of paper could be the RICO act,
related to the film "The Valachi Papers."

What they all have in common is Charles Bronson.

Sorry for the delay....busy evening...had to give daughter her bedtime
story and the dog got hold of some turkey leftovers, ate a bone and
was sick everywhere!

Ok, the question was just for you. It's my early new year resolution
to give you a tough film-y question, because you never cease to
astound me with your in-depth knowledge of film related stuff. I'd
rather give you the answer in order to see how the brain was working
tonight; this might help in round two. I'll give you the answer and
then cancel the question. I'll come up with another for you soon
enough!

1. Jill Ireland (you got that)
2. Charles Bronson (got that one too!)
3. David MacCallum
4. 1969 - Decree Nisi MacCallum/Ireland...marriage Bronson/Ireland

Link : The Great Escape. During the production it is alledged that
Bronson boasted to MacCallum that he would one day marry his wife;
making good his promise 6 years later.

I'm off on holiday until the new year so, Pink, have a great new year;
health, wealth and happiness to you and yours. See you in 06...

I'm sorry to have disappointed you. The ambiguities in your clues were
such that I'd have needed mind-reading skills to give the exact answer
that you wanted. If I had psychic powers, I'd be in Vegas piling up
the bucks rather than here on Google Answers. ;-)
