Hello. According to a U.S. State Department page, "Citizens from more than 80 countries were killed or injured in the September 11 terrorist attacks in the U.S." http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/rls/5968.htm A State Department map displays 86 countries that lost citizens in the attacks: http://usinfo.state.gov/topical/pol/terror/terrormap.htm Another State Department web page states, "Victims came from more than 90 countries around the world." http://usinfo.state.gov/topical/pol/terror/020815basic.htm "One in six ? 494 ? are reportedly either foreigners or Americans with dual citizenship, hailing from more than 90 countries." http://usinfo.state.gov/albums/911/ender.htm According to the White House web page, "more than 80 countries" had citizens killed in the September 11 attacks. http://www.whitehouse.gov/national-anthem/ 84 countries are listed by Admiral Dennis Blair on the U.S. Pacific Command's web site: http://www.pacom.mil/forum/Fall_01/forward/isc.html search strategy: "september 11," countries, lost citizens, "citizens killed" I hope this helps. |
