how can i get an American Express Centurion (black) card? I know about
the spending and income. Is there someone at Amex who can help me
bypass this?

I have a Delta sky miles platinum. I am not interested in the valet
service (although it would be nice).

There is no way around the spending requirement for the card. 
Although you do not need to have a Platinum Charge Card (which is
different from your Delta card) it does help.  There are other
criteria for the card that are never released, and the card is by
invitation only.
