I'd like to know all about the various fungi that cohabit our bodies
with us, where they come from, when/why they are dormant (in spore
form), what makes them active, etc.

Hi jat,

Did the comment provide you with the answer that you were seeking, or
do you still wish a researcher to prepare an answer?

Evidently, I put the below comments in the wrong place. Still want
more in the way of clarification/answer...

I appreciate the comment which directed me to the doctorfungus
website. However, what I'm really looking for has to do with the pH
of the milieu (either of the human body or of the soil) and its role
in the activation of fungal spores, fungal growth, etc. I'm primarily
interested in the interaction between the fungi and humans, but
observations re: the soil would be helpful, in the event info on
humans is lacking. In addition, when I ask a question, I'm looking
for--and am willing to pay for--is to have somebody else do the
research besides myself. Although the doctorfungus recommendation
will, no doubt, prove to be helpful, I prefer to have, in addition to
this kind of thing, links which more specifically answer my questions.
 Thanks...
