Google has been searching for a Director of Operations for nearly a
year. I have been a Director of Operations, and Enterprise Manager of
the UCSF Stanford Med Center Data Centers.

I have submitted my resume 4 seperate times, yet have not even had so
much as a phone call from HR. What does it take to get their
attention?

T.P. O'Halloran ( my resume is at www.tpo.net\TPO_Resume.rtf )

The best way to learn about employment opportunities at Google is
through the following link:

If you believe you are a fit for one of the positions listed, you
should contact Google at jobs@google.com or by fax to (650) 618-1796.
Please include the position in which you are interested in the subject
field.

Hope this helps.

Try posting a question to "Google Answers" and seeing if anyone
responds! :) Seriously, though, I think if you have heard nothing
you should assume that you will hear nothing. In my expierence with
Google you either get a very quick response (from 2 hour to maybe two
days) or no response at all.

I got a response after about 2 weeks, so the lack of a very quick
response is not necessarily an indication of lack of interests.

Try to call in after you have submitted your resume!
Good luck.

Just a hint:
If you wrote the URL that way in your resume, too, you were put on the
rejection pile without further consideration.

If it's been on the site a year, it's most likely not a *real*
position. They are probably having some poor internal sap handle the
job in addition to his other responsibilities and are just trolling
for resumes in case someone applies who has won a Nobel Prize.
