I have a 2004 Ford Freestar that is completely paid for. I have to
sell it and with the money purchase a vehicles for my mom ,sister and
neice. I don't want people coming to my house asking to test drive
the vehicle because I feel that could be a little dangerous for a
woman. However I need to get top dollar. Are there any services in
the Virginia tidewater area that will help sell my vehicle without
charging a arm and leg.

many dealers, even small new car dealers, will take a car on
consignment, as will some eBay sellers - just check out their
reputation and remember that someone will be letting people test drive
the vehicle so verify with your insurance company that you are fully
covered (this is always tricky, especially if anyone under 18 drives
the vehicle.)

Bottom line is that you won't get top dollar unless you get the
vehicle evaluated by an independent testing service and get a
transferrable warranty to go with it.
