I am looking for the title, author's name, ISBN number, publishing house, and year of publication of a textbook of English Litterature (short stories) that was used in the late 1970's by the Argyle School Board in the province of Nova Scotia in Canada for students in grade 11. The title is probably something like "Compendium of short stories in English Litterature". Among the short stories included in this book are: "Lineghan's Ants" (the exact spelling may be slightly different)and "David". Thank you. |

I wonder if "Lineghan's Ants" may be "Leiningen versus the Ants," a famous short story by Carl Stephenson: http://www.classicshorts.com/stories/lvta.html |

Hi ser_den, Believe it or not, I'm from the Yarmouth area -- have emailed a few contacts to see if they have any insight. Will keep you posted! :) Emjay-ga |
