is the fuel pump of a 1999 hyundai sonata inside it's fuel tank?

Howdy catann-ga,

Granted, the following information is for the 2000 and 2001 Sonata, but as
almost all fuel pumps are located in the gas tank, and as it is doubtful
that Hyundai would change the location of the fuel pump from 1999 to 2000,
it would follow that the 1999 Sonata would have the fuel pump in the fuel
tank as well.
