Hi, gfgk-ga,
It sounds as though you make beautiful music! Though it was
difficult to find a complete list of event planners in New England, I
came up with some resources which may help you.
First of all, you might try listing your talents on
NewEnglandEvents.com. For a description of types of musical
entertainment listed, and the contact information to present your own
talent on the page, go to http://www.newenglandevents.com/music.shtml
Affairnet is another site to investigate for listing your musical
services. A search under geographic regions Massachusetts, pulled up
this listing of musicians -
http://www.affairnet.com/areasearch1.php?state=MA&category=entertainment
If you have a website, you can list your act for free on their site
at http://www.affairnet.com/linkup.php
I found the following resources on the Dreamweaver site for New
England at http://www.bridalnetwork.ca/affiliates/dreamweavers/index2.cfm?RegionID=183
:
Azalea Chamber Music at http://www.azaleachambermusic.com/ looks
like a good resource for you to investigate. The organization
describes its services as not only performers/musicians but also
music consultants working with each of our clients to carefully select
the ensemble and music selections that ensures the success of each
event. http://www.azaleachambermusic.com/faq.html.
Willow Entertainment is an agency that looks promising. Take a look
at some of the small ensembles they provide for events at
http://www.willow-entertainment.com/smallensembles/index.htm . You
will need to give them a call to find out the specifics of listing
your talent.
United Sound is another events agency that provides all types of
music for occasions around New England. Look through their website at
http://www.usevents.com/ . Click on the Contact Link on the left-hand
side of the homepage for their telephone number and details about
listing your talents with them.
The Wedding Beautiful is listed as a complete wedding events
planner. You can contact them from their home page at
http://www.weddingbeautiful.com/ to find out how they choose their
musical groups.
For some event planners listed in New Hampshire, visit the New
Hampshire Event Consultants page for the Main Event at
http://www.main-event.com/eventplanners.html. Signature Events at
http://www.signatureeventsnh.com/whoweare.htm looks like a good
possibility, as does the Wachsmuth Group at
http://www.wachsmuthgroup.com/home.html .
On the Boston Magazines Social Datebook at
http://www.bostonmagazine.com/content.php?name=socialads.txt, you
might find some useful contacts. Barry Productions,
www.barryproductions.com, under Bands and Entertainment, and Elizabeth
Boen Events, under Event Planners, are worth contacting.
If you really want to dig deep, it may be worthwhile to pick up a
copy of New England Corporate Events magazine. They distribute their
magazine to 20,000 Event Planners from Maine to Washington DC. You
might find some event planners listed in the back of the magazine. You
can register for a free copy of their magazine at
http://www.necorpevents.com/advertising/aboutus.asp .
It would also be useful to search for Event Planners under some
local yellow pages in the cities you are most interested in booking
acts.
Good luck!

Hello, again!
Unfortunately, there is no comprehensive database of event planners
for the New England area available for free. If you had already found
most of the information I included in my previous answer, it would
have helped tremendously if you had mentioned the sources you
previously referenced in your question. It would have saved several
hours of research.
Aside from the sources I have given you to start with, I have one
more reference that may or may not help. The International Society of
Meeting Planners offers a CD Rom titled "Meeting and Event Planners
CD-Rom Database containing over 5,000 listing of various types of
event planners. How many are contained for the New England Region is
unknown. You might call them before you order, if you desire. The
phone number is at the top of the homepage. The CD costs $65.00, and
is available at http://www.iami.org/5/pubs/database.cfm
As I mentioned earlier, a Yellow pages search for various cities
will give you references to various types of event planners. Keep in
mind, when you asked for a listing of event planners, many of those
references bring up event planners that have nothing to do with music.
Some might be party planners for children's birthday parties!!!
Therefore, you will have to do some sifting.
If you are willing to take the time, here is an example of a search
I just did for Boston. Go to SuperPages.com at
http://www.superpages.com/ Under Category, type in "event planners"
(without the parenthesis), and under city, type in Boston. It then
brings you to a page that looks like this:
http://yp107.superpages.com/listings.phtml?SRC=&STYPE=S&PG=L&R=N&C=event+planners&N=&T=boston&S=MA&search=Find+It&rtd=yp103.superpages.com-175722.
From here, I looked at the various categories, and seemed to have the
most luck under Special Event Planning. Clicking on that link brought
me to this page: http://yp107.superpages.com/listings.phtml?CID=7389JJ3578C&AL=&C=event+planners&T=boston&PG=L&STYPE=S&R=N&S=MA&NA=&PM=00190843&LC=9&PI=1&MC=1&CB=&PP=
On this page, I noticed "A Boston Events Specialist." When
investigating their site, I noticed that they do all sorts of event
planning but don't provide music. You can see the dilemma! However,
Abbie's Best Event Ever at http://www.besteventever.com/ looks like a
promising contact.
I have given you a host of good places to begin for free. Unless you
are willing to pay some money for a database, I suggest you search all
cities and towns of interest on the SuperPages.com site in the manner
I suggested.
I hope this helps!
