I am not sure whether this program exists in Win2k3, but for older version the simplest way would be to use the File & Settings Transfer Wizard, which can be found in Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools. This is a simple process to transfer all profile related information from an old computer to a new one. |

I doubt this would work for copying from one server to another. There must be a way to xfer user?s profile (i.e. his documents and settings folder) from one win 2003 domain to another win 2003 domain, and do it in a way that his Outlook still functions and his Outlook profile is unaffected. When we tried a stright copy, Outlook did not work, but most of the other settings did. If I made both server be one the same domain would that help? I havn't made the 2nd server a DC yet, it is still a stand-alone. |
