Hi,
I talked to the company who in the traveling nurse placement business
and is looking for a VP of Sales. One of the co-founders was involved
in an earlier startup in the same field (Travel Nurse Inc. which was
bought by MRN the public company). They seemed confident that they can
pull it off again, but somehow I get a very uneasy feeling about them,
although I can't explain why.
Since the package is mostly commission and equity based, I am wondering
1) how competitive is the business?
2) what is the chance of selling the business for, say $30 million in
5 years? how much revenue/earnings must the company have?
3) are there warning signs that I should be looking for in a very
small company in this business?
4) since this is a private company, I can't seem to find much
information about it. Could you find any?
