Hi, timespacette. My sister has a Ph.D in geology from the University of Hawaii, with a specialty in vulcanology. I've emailed her to see whether she can offer any suggestions. |

timespacette, My sister is currently so wrapped up in other matters that she hasn't responded to my email. If I hear from her, I'll post something. In the meantime, I hope other Google Answers Researchers may be interested in taking this on. |

Do a Google search on 'hawaii bathymetry', and you'll get a bunch of hits. For instance, have a look at: http://www.3dsoftware.com/Cartography/Bathymetry/ http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/infobank/gazette/html/bathymetry/hw1.html http://geopubs.wr.usgs.gov/i-map/i2809/ http://www.mbari.org/data/mapping/hawaii/ http://www.vterrain.org/Hawaii/Elevation/index.html and many more. |
