I need to find some resources outlining of the reasons for and the
issues surrounding commercial liability insurance. Specifically, this
is for an early-stage, privately held California-based Nevada
Corporation involved in product development of illegal drug-testing
technology (we are owned by an publicly traded company based outside
the US). My specific questions are:

1) Is $1 million the standard amount of coverage?
2) In as much depth as possible I want to understand the possible
personal exposure of management, the board etc?
3) Any thoughts on where I might find the best rates for liability insurance?
4) Are their any good online resources regarding general liability
issues with smaller private companies? Other issues to be aware of
etc.?
