Hi vidkid,

The literary agent for Peter Fenton's "Eyeing the Flash" is Brian
Defiore of Defiore and Company.

"DeFiore and Company is a full service literary agency located in New
York's SOHO. Its founder, Brian DeFiore, has over twenty years
experience in the book publishing industry, having served as publisher
of Villard Books at Random House, as Editor-in-Chief of Hyperion, and

(...)
"The agency was started in 1999, and since then has sold well over 100
book projects to every major US publisher, in the International
publishing market and to Hollywood. With the addition of Laurie
Abkemeier, who joined the agency in 2003, DeFiore and Co. continues to
focus on solid editorial acumen and creative publishing strategies to
broaden the traditional role of agent. Brian is a member of the Board

Fenton, Peter. In the summer of 1963, 14-year-old Peter Fenton was a
freckle-faced honor student and a member of Mensa in his small home
town in Michigan; then he met Jackie Barron?the tall blond and cynical
?world?s youngest Elephant trainer?, whose youth was spent learning
scams on the carnie circuit. Fenton?s book EYEING THE FLASH: The
Education of a Carnival Boy is a hilarious look beneath the surface of
an American icon, the traveling carnie; while at the same time being a
touching memoir of a young man finding a way to escape a humdrum life.
