If you are referring to supposed Gambino Capo and "wannabe" Godfather,
Carmine 'Lilo' Galante (aka, Carlo Galante), he was brutally murdered
in 1979; shot to death while he dined al Fresco with his cousin at a
local patio restaraunt. The hit was a allegedly an assasinated on the
orders of "heads of the families".

Galante was once said to have been the "mafioso capo di tutti
capi"--"the boss of all bosses of the Mafia".
