Can you find a tutorial or guide to learning how to throat sing? It
has it's roots in the country of Tuva (between Russia and Mongolia)
and was introduced to Americans by Paul Pena who went to visit the
country, and was made into a movie, Genghis Blues. There are several
types of throat singing apparently, and I would like to try to learn a
few. Some artists that throatsing are Huun Huur Tu, Kongar-ool, Ondar
and Paul Pena. Thank you.

I'm also looking for music files on the techniques, but do not need
any produced music. Thanks.

Tuvan singing is also known as "Overtone Singing," so you could use
that as a search phrase as well. Here's a page called "FRIENDS OF
TUVA," that has links to "how-to's" and all kinds of tempting Tuva
tips. The site that Myoarin found for you, "khoomei.com" is there,
too.

Just a word of encouragement: You CAN learn it. I once heard a
Canadian youth chorus that had a couple of guys who had learn to do it
quite well. :)
