Hi,

The only method of doing this is to have the best page with the best
PageRank (PR). You can't pay for placement on Google, as has been
expressed in the comments below. You can pay for advertisement, but
I'm pretty sure that's not what you are asking about.

The current first page on Google for your example search term is :
http://www1.biz.biglobe.ne.jp/~elize/needle_detector.htm

The page has a ranking of 5 of 10 and is mostly text. Links to this
page from other websites can be found by searching on Google for this:
link:http://www1.biz.biglobe.ne.jp

They don't have many.

The second and third pages are :
http://www.nbsun.com/producte-ld.htm PR = 4 of 10
http://www.morito.co.jp/apparel/o1/kensinki/ PR = 4 of 10

Follow the guidelines and develop your site so that your PR is higher
than 5, and you will be on top of the list. To keep it there you will
need to keep a watch on changes in the indexing techniques of search
engines and change your pages accordingly. Keywords and Meta Tags for
instance are no longer as effective of a tool, as they were last year
and the year before, though there are still "marketers" who are
pounding on that soap box.

Google Webmaster page, read this through completely.

The beauty of the google search, and the reason for it's highly
relevant results, is it's page ranking system. There is no way to
control where in the results your site appears. To read more about

If you want your URL at the top of the results for a Google search,
you have only two options:

1) Adwords/AdWords Select: Lo-Cost keyword based advertising which
will display your ad along the ight side of the search window.
2)Premium Sponsorship: Displays your ad across the top of the search
results. SOmewhat more expensive, though.

Unfortunately in the case of your question, neither of these is
persisitent. When the searcher scrolls down, you're gone. The only
other thing you could do is make sure your website is the most
relevant for a given keyword, whioch should help give it a high
ranking. Even then, it still isn't persistent.

That's the wonderful thing about Google, and it's why it's the best
search engine. Period. They won't contaminate the search results.
