I am looking for somewhere to buy a poster-sized print of the following painting:

http://www.funet.fi/pub/culture/russian/html_pages/images/lenin8.jpg

A high resolution digital version of the image I can print myself is
also satisfactory.

I _believe_ it is painted by V. Serov.

A similar image with a relatively good resolution exists here:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/97/Serov-Lenin_proclaims_Soviet_power.jpg

This is not the image I am looking for. I want the colour painting first mentioned.

Try contacting Aimo Minkkinen, the director of the "Lenin Museum," at:
lenin@sci.fi (As weird as it sounds, that email address is correct!)

Sincerely,

It appears that you can get a slide of the painting from the UCSD
slide collection. I'm not sure how difficult that would be. An image
could then be made from the slide.
