I have a bike engine thats two cylinder. I wish to use it in a
veichle. I need to hook up a tachometer to it. The tachometer is only
built to take 4 cylinder signal. How can I double the current signal
so my tachometer displays correctly.

output.

I think someone would need to know exactly what engine and tach you are using.

Its going on to a TRX850 bike engine. 2 cylinder. The tacho works on
it only it reads exactly half. So when im at 5000rpm the tacho is
showing 2500rpm. So all i need is a simple circuit to double the
signal to the tacho. thanks.

couldn't you just use a sharpie and write over the numbers on the tach
to show what the engine is reading? for example: write 6000 over 3000
or white out 3000 then write over it.
