In what courts would the following cases be likely to be heard? What
rights of appeal would the parties have?
a) Roger owes the sum of $120,000 to the Acme publishing company pty.
ltd. for printing. Acme wishes to take legal action to recover the
debt.
b)The police charge George with shoplifting. The maximum penalty for
shoplifting in this question is a period of imprisonment for a period
not exceeding three month.
c) Dany wishes to issue a petition for bankruptey against julienne.
I need all the references and foot notes too.

a) supreme court, due to the amount - appeal full bench supreme court
b) district, due to short time frame - supreme court
each would be appealed to the next higher court.

c) can't be bothered to write it all. But you can not issue a
Bankruptcy against someone, only the person wishing to shield
themselves from having to pay their debts can apply for bankruptcy.

btw, sorry criminal law is delt with under the state your in, so what
happens depends on where you are.

bankruptcy delt in Federal court.
