I've been told that there is a company that wholesales and dropships
Italian designer handbags (Prada, Fendi, Gucci etc) located in (or
maybe around) the 94128 zip code. Is there any way you can help me
find the company in that zip code that wholesales and dropships these
items. If not could you locate any company in the US that would
wholesale and dropship Italian designer
handbags.
Note: I have done searches on dropshippers, wholsalers and Italian
designer handbags with no luck. I have also contacted the San Fransico
Chamber of Commerce (94128 zip is in S.F.) who couldn't help. I went
on mapquest and it showed that that zip is comprised mostly of the SF
airport but there is one road that runs along the airport that is the
most likely place where a business could be located. That is as far as
I could get in my research.
Thanks,

Dear Matt,
Is there a reason the company must be in San Francisco?
I believe that I can get you a reliable contact in Italy
who can get you the handbags you need directly from the
designer.
Would that work for you?
Best wishes

Before I answer your question let me give you a little more background
on why I'm asking the question. I want to start a web based business
selling Italian designer handbags. I would like to be able to just
take the orders and send them to my dropshipper who would then send
them out. In doing some research I found that there is a company that
sells the same items that has a supplier, that dropships, in the SF
area and very likely in the zip mentioned. That's the only reason I
mentioned the SF area because I thought it might be easier to find
that supplier than someone from scratch. So to answer your question,
no, it doesn't have to be in the SF area. To answer the second part of
your question, it is improtant to me to have a supplier who
dropships. A dropshipper sends the merchandise directly from their
warehouse to my customers. Therefore all I have to do is get the order
and send it to them and they take care of the shipping. I see a few
things that may be a problem with getting a contact in Italy who can
get the handbags directly from the designers. First, I need someone
who can ship the goods directly to my customers and I need them to
carry all the different brands under the same roof so I only have one
point of contact. From what you said it sounds like I would have to go
to each designer and work out some shipping deal seperately. Also, are
you implying that I would have to buy their merchandise in bulk and
have it imported from Italy? Or do they have shippers here? If they do
have shippers here I still would like to not have to go a different
shipper for each brand. That's why I mentioned SF because I know for a
fact that there is at least one company in the US (and I'm sure there
area plenty more) that has all the brands under one roof that sells
closeouts at wholesale prices and they dropship. If your contact in
Italy can recommend a wholesale dropshipper in the US that carries the
major Italian designer handbag names that would be sufficient. I'm
guessing that he can't because if he could you would probably have the
answer for me. Sorry for the long winded answer but I wanted to make
sure you had all the facts.

Hello matt417-ga
I looked at your question in depth at the time of posting and couldn't
locate any (surprisingly). I found a few ebay store 'wholesalers' but
that was about it. Also sites some sites were selling company lists of
importers - but looked dubious.
The research was compounded by the fact there were many 'imitation'
bags and many retailers were exclaiming 'at cheaper than wholesale
prices' or 'factory prices'. It seems quite elusive. If that S.F.
company was trading they would make their services known by an entry
in a directory somewhere. I'm sure other researchers have looked in
depth too.
kind regards
