I'm trying to locate a book that is out of print, and used copies are harder to find than a video on MTV. Here's the info, and thank you for helping! Growing a Beautiful Garden: A Landscape Guide for the Coastal Carolinas by Henry, Jr. Rehder Hardcover: 240 pages Publisher: Banks Channel Books; (March 1997) ISBN: 0963596799 |

Hi powerpop - I know how you feel. Not long ago, I just had to have an out-of-print book that I had lost and just by luck found the daughter of the author who just happened to have a few copies on hand. The web search I did on your behalf revealed that book sites were out of stock. The best amazon. com could do, for example, was accept an order in case they came across a used copy. However, I did have some luck with Banks Channel Books. I telephoned them and was assured that you can telephone on Monday September 9, 2002, to place an order for "Growing a Beautiful Garden: A Landscape Guide for the Coastal Carolinas" by Henry, Jr. Rehder. The telephone number of Banks Channel Books is (910)762-4677. The email address is bankschan@aol.com. I was told that although you can place an order on Monday, the book won't be coming in until the middle of the week. Good luck with getting your book and with your garden. Alanna search terms: "growing a beautiful garden" rehder ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&q=%22growing+a+beautiful+garden%22+rehder&btnG=Google+Search Banks Channel Books website: http://www.blairpub.com/BanksCh.htm Scroll down to the telephone number (3/4 of way down the page) |

Ordered the book yesterday, thank you. It turned out to be an easy one I guess. I've been searching for close to a year, and now that I put the question to Google, here comes a new pressing of the book. But, I'll have the book before it hits the stores, and in my Mom's hands in time for her birthday! |

I haven't been able to locate a copy of this book. You might want to go on the "wish list" at Half.com (a division of Ebay.) They will notify you if a used copy becomes available. This works quite well; I have located three out of four books that I've put on the wish list in the last year. http://half.ebay.com/cat/buy/prod.cgi?cpid=764652&domain_id=1856&meta_id=1 |

Amazon.com also lists this book and allows you to add yourself to a waiting list for a used copy. Link to this book on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN%3D0963596799/qid%3D921351120/sr%3D1-116/104-9124296-9219166 Good luck! I hope you are able to obtain a copy quickly. This looks like a very highly rated book from the Amazon reviews it has received. CSIgirl |

A used copy of the book may be ordered at the link below from Classbook: http://www.classbook.com/classbook/include/product.asp?isbn=0963596799 Because their inventory fluctuates rapidly, they will be unable to confirm stock until an order is placed. If they are unable to fulfill your order, you will not be billed. Good luck! -Chromedome |
