I am looking for a full set of "Let's Pretend" stories. These were a
set of records made by Telegeneral in the 1970s. I am *not* interested
in the radio shows of the same name from the 1940s-1950s.
I occasionally see a few of the individual records come up on eBay,
but I am really looking for a full set. Here is one of the eBay record
listings...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=903373861&rd=1
I do not care about actually owning the records themselves, I only
want to be able to listen to the stories, so a set of MP3s would be
fine for me.
I've heard variously from other people who bid on the records on eBay
that there is a full set of MP3s available, but no one remembers where
they saw them. I'd love to find this set of MP3s, or a full set of the
records in good condition.
thanks,

Hi again bigjosh,
I found your series listed on an old time radio website, and available
for purchase in two sets, each set containing ten cassettes. Each of
the two sets is for sale for $40. Although the description provides no
dates, one of the cassettes contains the same two stories,
(Rumplestiltskin and Donkey Skin) as the recording you cited in
your question. The stories are both on the same cassette, just as the
eBay offering.
Would you be interested in the cassettes? I have found many references
to the older (1929-1954) series in mp3 format, but this is the only
reference I have been able to find which corresponds to the example
that you gave.

Unfortunately, whenever they refer to "Old time radio", they always
mean the old radio show from the 40's and never the records from the
70's. I have the old radios shows and they are not very good, while
the records are *great*.
thanks.

As an alternative, would you be interested in "Let's Pretend" records
at a nearby library? If so, what geographical area or major city is
accessible to you?
