Can you recomend a good USB webcam for under $90? I need it to meet the following specs: - USB - Mac and Windows 2000/XP - auto exposure! - must have some kind of privacy visior (or shutoff switch) - auto focus would be a plus - microphone would be a plus and the most important of all - the windows 2000/XP drivers need to be stable. I found tons of reports onn epinions.com about users having nightmares with the crappy drivers Intel used to ship with their webcams. thanks... |

And, just for fun, the Intel cameras aren't MAC compatible. I'll look around; I think the only Mac cameras out there are $99 and up, tho. |

Logitech makes the QuickCam® Pro 4000, for $99, although it doesn't specify autoexposure, or shutoff switch. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=products/details&CRID=4&CONTENTID=5042&countryid=19&languageid=1 iRez makes the Kritter USB at $80 with auto exposure, but no switch or visor. http://www.irez.com/products/kritterusb.html Neither of them have microphones. Good luck! |
