Given your dissatisfaction with an earlier answer, could you please
clarify...

- Whether you will only accept a photography book dealing
*exclusively* with the "Desolation Wilderness area in the Eldorado
National Forest, just west
of Lake Tahoe..." and no other area?

- Whether a negative would be a satisfactory answer. That is, are you
trying to find out if there are any books of Desolation Wilderness
photography exclusively so, for instance, you can determine if there's
a market for publishing your own book, or are you trying to purchase
such a book?

Such clarifications will help researchers determine if they can help
you, and possibly provide you with a satisfactory answer.  Thanks!

I will only accept a photography book dealing 
*exclusively* with the "Desolation Wilderness" area in the Eldorado 
National Forest, just west

such a book for myself and fellow backpackers who regularly hike in this area.

The subject of your question was:  "desolation wilderness photography
book"
Your question was: "are there any desolation wilderness photography
books?"

It does not appear that you asked for a photography book "...solely to
the Desolation Wilderness area only!!!!"  Since your question was not
ambiguous, the researcher gave you a answer that answered your
question.  I have done some research on this question without being
able to find an exclusive book. Perhaps another researcher will be
able to find the informaiton, if it exists, for you.

GA guidlines ask the customer to use the answer clarification section
to request infomation that would illuminate the answer further or add
facts that were perhaps not clear in the question in order to help the
researcher find more specific data on the way you interpret the
question.  You did not do that but rather, shut off the dialog.

Researchers always try to do whatever is necessary to find the data
requested or to respond to clarification requests, often in more
detail than the original answer as you will note by scanning other
questions on the queue.  Sorry that it didn't happen that way this
time.

You may wish to give a few more details about the exact sort of book
you are seeking, so that researchers can more accurately meet your
need.

Desolation Wilderness area in the Eldorado National Forest, just west
of Lake Tahoe. The Pacific Crest Trail goes thru the Desolation
Wilderness area and the Tahoe to Yosemite Trail starts from Desolation
Wilderness area.

I am trying to find out if there are any photoghraphic books of
Desolation Wilderness area, exclusively and only, to purchase such
books for myself and friends who backpack regularly in the area.
