I can find the current starret tool catalog and at various sites I can
find prices for certain items in the catalog but I can not find the
entire price catalog. Where can I find a price list for all of the
current starrett tools?

I located one ditributor with 473 Starrett
tools, however, if you want the "official"
Starrett catalog, with prices, this seems
to be unavailable, as noted.

Thank you for this question....Starrett sells exclusively through
distribution. W.W. Grainger is a prime distributor. Grainger lists 473
Starrett products in their online catalog.  Grainger, generally, does
not sell to consumers. You need to register at their site 
www.grainger.com   with your company's tax number to get full access
to their online catalog with the Starrett items listed with pricing.

As a long time user of Grainger for machine tools, filters, and supply
items for an industrial business, I have always found them to be very
helpful in obtaining specific information with regard to the products
they don't list in their catalog.   I have access to their online
catalog at this time and would be glad to look up any items you are
interested in with pricing.

When you search for the distributors for Starrett products at their
website,  www.starrett.com , you will find many small industrial
distributors listed for any particular state or region.  It somehow
validates the use of local supply houses by businesses for their
engineering/supply item needs.

Another online source for Starrett items is

They mention the following, "We carry thousands of L.S. Starrett
tools, but the catalog sections below are not yet complete.  Please
call us for pricing and availability of any Starrett tool. (800)347

Unfortunately, there is no all inclusive catalog of Starrett products
online with pricing. The Grainger catalog, I believe, after extensive
searching, is the best you will find.

I'll be glad to clarify any information I have provided or look up a
specific Starrett tool for you at Grainger.com if you are unable to
register that site.

PS:  In no way would Pinkfreud ever presume to be "smart alecky". She
is a very dedicated highly rated reseacher who posted her comment to
eliminate the Starrett web site as a source of the information you had
requested.  I have followed her work on GA and complement her on the
directness and fullness of her answers. Sorry you saw her comments as
offensive....

I would presume that Starrett is not publishing its price list online,
since they have placed this notice on their site:

This website lists North American distributors
and does not include pricing. Contact your
Starrett Distributor for more information.

information I am searching.

I did not mean to sound impolite in my previous note about the
availability of Starrett's price list.
