Do you want to destroy fully grown oak trees or prune them or are you
dealing with seedlings or do you simply want to find a way to deal
with acorns on your lawn?

Hi bish...
I was going to suggest preventing the tree
from a productive flowering cycle.
There are a few methods associated with
the reduction in flowering population,
mostly mechanically natural in occurrence.
Simulation is possible, yet probably in
some ways impractical in implementation.
Would you be interested in entertaining
these impractical, although 100% possible
ideas, in lieu of the non-existent "easy off-
the-shelf" way?

if I wanted to remove the trees, I obviously would not be asking how
to prevent the acorns from forming. Is their a practical way of
preventing polination of the acorns or any way to prevent them from
growing? This is the question. I have submitted a second question
regarding dealing with acorns after they have fallen to the lawn.
Raking and picking them up manually is impractical due to their
extremely large numbers. I've tried a shop vac which is too slow; I
made a special rake with close tines-didn't work.

Reply to alienintelligence: yes, I will consider your 100% possible
but impractical suggestions, even though they will do me no good (as
you say-they are impractical).
