Cotton candy was invented by two men from Nashville, TN
John Wharton and William Morrison, who debuted their invention at the
Louisiana Purchase Exposition, the St. Louis World's Fair of 1904.

The manufacturer of nearly 100 percent of all cotton candy machines is
Gold Medal Products in Evendale, OH.
The founder's son, J.C. Evans, the current chairman of Gold Medal
