I need to find out about casino-like applications that have been
developed to use via interactive TV - ie: letting viewers participate
by hitting keys on
their remote control.

I remember there was a really cheesy one that was part of a cable TV
trial back in 1995 in London, but I can't remember the name of it.

The only other one I've found it the "Yes casino" service which
launched in May 2002 on Israel's Yes-DBS satellite digital TV
platform. I've got some pictures of it from Yes-DBS's site
http://www.yes.co.il/ but I can't tell exactly how it works since I
can't read the description which is in Hebrew or Arabic or something.

Ideally, I'd love to find some photos/videoclips illustrating these
services but even just the names and a short text description would
help.

Thanks in advance,
Lynette :-)

If anyone can translate what it says on the yes.co.il site about the
YesCasino service that would be great. e.g., I can't even figure out
whether its just a game or whether people are actually playing using
real money. Thanks again.
