Hi again,

Yes it is. In fact, Macromedia Flash Player is part of the standard
installation for almost every browser, as well as the Windows and Mac
operating systems:

Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME, XP (Home & Professional)
Apple Mac OS - 8.x, 9.x, OS X, 10.1.x, and above + Hardware, IMac. PB,
G3
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, 6.0 (Windows)
Netscape 6 and Navigator/Communicator
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (Macintosh)
America Online
RealPlayer
QuickTime
Veon Player
@Home
Web TV / Liberate
NeoPlanet
http://www.macromedia.com/software/player_census/flashplayer/partners.html

They forgot to list the Opera browser, which has included it since
version 5.1:

Worldwide over 90% of web users have a Flash Player on their system:

I trust this answers your question. If any portion of my answer is
unclear, please ask for clarification.

This is really good info. Do you know if it is included with a minimium install.

Hi again,

Sorry for the delay. I searched high and low for the answer to no
avail, so after much deliberation I took a deep breath and installed
AOL 7.0 on my PC (in the past uninstalling AOL had given my PC many
system problems)

There were no installation options on offer. Minimum and standard are
one and the same, you get Flash and anything else they include,
whether you like it or not.

It also uninstalls cleanly these days :)
