In Microsofts Outlook, is there a way to reveal the e-mail address
from the sender other than going through the properties? I want to
reveal the sender in the actual in-box, but there doesn't seem to be
that option. Is something so simple so unavailable?

Hello, smokeymischief:
A think I must answer yes to your question "Is something so simple
so unavailable?", I have done some research an here are my results:

Show sender's mail host ??
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=es&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&threadm=uR4GGHEZ%24GA.329%40cppssbbsa03&rnum=8&prev=/groups%3Fhl%3Des%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3Dutf-8%26q%3Doutlook%2Bsender%2Bcolumn%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN%26tab%3Dwg

In this message an Outlook MVP answers negatively to an user that
wants that feature.

Annoyances.org - Display email addresses in Outlook Express
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98/t991851662

Here a user is frustated because he can't find such feature in Outlook
Express.

Showing the Sender's Email Address

And finally an article that explains how to use Outlook VBA to add
such feature, but I think is for Outlook 2000, not for Outlook Express
which doesn't have VBA.

If you find all this information interesting and enough to answer the
question, please, let me now to post it as an answer.

yes, this is pretty good. Not the answer I wanted I guess, since I
can't change the Outlook, but still pretty good. Thanks!
