I have an indesit 462W washing machine - we rent a house in Greece so
it was presumably bought here.  I am trying to get an English manual
and specification - particularly want to know what the spin speed is
supposed to be.

Indesit Italia seems to have model numbers that are close to the one
you have, but nothing that matches exactly. Have a look to see if any
of these look familiar.

As with most appliances, model numbers are short lived as they are
rapidly replaced by newer models.  There does, however, seem to be a
pattern in the numbering of models in that the first number of the
model indicates the spin speed of the washer. For example, a model
number of W 63 spins at 600 RPM, while the W 43 spins at 400 RPM. One
could possibly deduce that the spin speed for your washer is 400 RPM.
