Hello,
I assume you mean competitions for industrial designers, product
design, furniture, lighting and maybe architectural fittings... to
include industrial design engineering? So far not many for students,
more for commercial or for young working designers. I assume you are
still studying because the prestigious Braun prize unfortunately is
for recently graduated working designers and up. The list might not be
very long.. anyway let me know your thoughts.
kind regards
lot-ga

hello,
sorry, there is provision for students in the Braun entry..
I could give you the details, with some other links if you are looking
for industrial design. I forgot to ask you if you are a sculptor,
which is a different area to industrial design and so any industrial
design recommendations would be inappropriate. If you can clarify,
thanks

lot-ga

To lot-ga:
Yes, industrial design. A short list is better than no list, so go ahead...
Thanks

I Guess it doesn't have to be specifically for students - it just has
to be possible for students to participate. I hope you understand what
I mean.

Not only those competitions that would be of interest for a sculptor -
any industrial design competitions.

Hi! Thanks for your question.

Based on the info I gathered from your question and the clarification,
the following are industrial design competitions wherein you could
submit online and have deadlines not later than December 1, 2002. Some
documents are in PDF file so you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to
read them. In case you haven¡¯t installed it yet here is a link so you
could download The Adobe Acrobat Reader
(http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html).
